METHODS: A retrospective review award recipients AUA website was performed. Gender recipient, type year were collected trend compared with census. RESULTS: Of 622 recipients, 43 (6.9%) women. There a larger early career (15/65; 23.1%) more prestigious mid (1/44; 2.3%) or senior (27/513; 5.3%) awards. Additionally, 17/43 (39.5%) not clinical urologists, only 33/579 (5.7%) male recipients. CONCLUSIONS: Despite increased representation in field urology, remain underrepresented given AUA. Although receiving increased, it remains less than expected urologists. Strategic initiatives should be employed help advance academic urology.
